Culinary Delights: Exploring the Top Restaurants of South Orange County

As an orange county real estate agent who has a love for delicious food; I've had the I have been spoiled with a selection from a diverse culinary scene of Orange County, California. Today, I'm excited to present to you a comprehensive list of some of the top-rated restaurants here in South Orange County, placed in no particular order as each restaurants provides a different flare for a different craving.

1. Blind Pig (Rancho Santa Margarita)- This adventurous eatery came on the scene with a bang, introducting american progressive cuisine paired with an eclectic selection of wines, a rotation of craft beer list, and some of the best cocktails in Orange County created in house using only the best products.  Located right on the RSM lake, this restaurant is a great hidden gem. 

2. Jimmy's Famous American Tavern (Dana Point) - With a great location just across the street from Dana Point Marina, Jimmy's has some of the best burgers and appetizers as they offer high quality, classic American cuisine with a flare.  Try anything on the menu and you can't go wrong!

3. Trevor's at the Tracks (San Juan Capistrano) - This place seems to always be packed so be sure to plan in advance because it is worth it!  This one is a trackside eatery that provides top quality food that is internationally inspired and amazing drinks in the heart of old San Juan on the historic train depot built in 1894.  Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks.

4. Hanna's (Rancho Santa Margariat) - Hanna's was named one of the U.S. top 100 restaurants and rated one of the best steakhouses in Orange County!  Hanna's offers modern American Steakhouse cuisine prepared with classic, traditional flair.  Makes for a great date night spot with your loved one. 

5. Coastal Kitchen (Dana Point) - Great location in the heart of Dana point and offers more of a comfortable, friendly atmosphere that keeps you wanting to come back. With a seafood focus, they are always serving some of the freshest fish present in unique and delicious plates.

6. Tutto Fresco (Rancho Santa Margarita) - I'm a bit biased when it comes to my hometown of Rancho Santa Margarita but I'm not alone when I say that Tutto Frescro is a staple for our area.  A tride and true restaurant for date nights, family outings, or just handcrafted cocktails with some friends.  Their italian menu does not disappoint.

7. Nick's San Clemente (San Clemente) - Nick's is a beloved local spot offering a diverse menu featuring prime rib, macadamia-crusted mahi-mahi, and a fantastic selection of cocktails. It's a reliable choice for a great meal.

8. Pizza Port (San Clemente) - Now this list wouldnt be complete without a good pizza place and with a location with all the beach charm.  Choose from many difference pizza options and some of the best most diverse selection of beers.  This place is a good time. 

These top-rated restaurants in South Orange County offer a diverse range of dining experiences. Now this is just to name a few of my favorites and North Orange County is home to pretty amazing restaurants as well!
